SUPR OMEN welcomes Axine M & Solid Choir on May 14 & 16 as the premier performance for Drift, a monthly program at SUPR OMEN showcasing live-works by artists who push to the edge of the edge of their discipline.

Over two nights, Axine M presents a solo guitar and vocal set followed by the premiere of Solid Choir performing three-part vocal arrangements of Maxine’s original songs.

Axine M is a container for the musical impulses of Maxine de las Pozas. Born in Miami, seasoned by East Coast DIY, and based in Brooklyn. Axine M’s Bored Giant Engine Sputter was released in 2025 on anno records. She was a 2024 Issue Project Room Artist in Residence. Maxine works as a Technical Director and Sound Engineer.

Solid Choir is a choir and also a group chat comprised of Ali Carter, Martina Gordon, Lea Jaffe, Leni Kreienberg, Christina Lan, Tayla Roberge, Mallie Sanford, and Amanda Schmidt. Directed by Axine M.
