operator is an alternative rock and post-rock band created by Riley Schmedeman and Max Rubin. Forming out of the ashes of LA rock band Swandive, operator will continue to expand the scope of their dynamic rock songs, in pursuit of making the most beautiful songs ever laid to tape.

Silas Five is a Seattle-reared, NYC-based multidisciplinary artist and recording musician. As a guiding light in his songcraft he has his hitherto inability to alleviate the problems of others. He would like to think his songs may help people. He wants to confess to those who will listen. He hopes that one day, his work will draw from him confession enough that he learns to be truly known by another human being.
