Panelists

Kasie Kirkland is a New-York based DIY Music Organizer with over ten years of experience creating events in underground music spaces as well as dozens of venues in NYC including Brooklyn Night Bazaar, Babycastles, AVIV, and her own event spaces.

Alaina Simone is an art consultant & curator. She has produced and curated exhibitions & educational programming in Europe and the United States including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Her current projects include gallery space PRVT VW (Private View) Soho, (linkprvtvw.com) and Verbier 3-D Foundation, a sculpture park in Switzerland where she is a board member.

Exhibition

In A Different World artists of color use both traditional and new media to create alternate universes that examine and revel in contemporary visual culture, and simultaneously bring us into deeper consideration of current realities. The exhibition is an immersive selection of photography, video, paintings and interactive art.
