Readers will take turns reading the 133 sections of “The Descent of Alette”’, Alice Notley’s epic visionary poem about a woman who confronts and finally defeats “The Tyrant”...(plus Music/Dance performance interludes).
Participants will include Laurie Anderson, Anne Waldman, William Parker, Katrina Vanden Heuval, Patricia Nicholson, Bob Holman, Joan Jonas, Shahzad Ismailly, Marc Ribot, + many other poets, writers, journalists, artists, dancers and musicians TBA.
