First Saturday at MoHA (June 2026)
Every first Saturday evening, we bring you…everything we can! All in one place, all at one time. Free for members, a sliding scale donation of $1-$10 for non-members helps us keep it all happening (no one turned away for lack of funds). Become a member for as low as $1/month here: https://pools.events/o/the_museum_of_human_achievement/join/
This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
This month is themed around rocks and smells.
~ MoHA WILL FEATURE ~
Smells Bingo!
A fragrance centered mutation of the traditional activity, Smells Bingo challenges your olfactory acumen to identify a selection of smells and match them to your fragrance enhanced bingo card. Are you the lucky sniffer? Prizes awarded! Hosted by Cindy Popp! 7:30-8:30pm.
Creative Pop-ups
Do you have a pet rock, scent story, or pebble passion that needs to be explored? In response to the success of our pop-up tabling at previous First Saturdays, we are seeking creative pop-ups to participate in this month's theme "Rocks and Smells." Artwork, drop in workshops, performance art, small group conversation topics, and other forms of sharing are welcome.
Interested? Let us know what you're thinking or if you have any questions at [email protected].
